Manager, Auto Finance Credit Strategy and Analytics Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid) Join our dynamic Auto Finance Analytics team and step into the role of Manager, Credit Strategy! Here, you'll have a unique opportunity to drive impactful business outcomes by leading transformative projects and innovating new products utilizing a wealth of internal and external data resources. Your expertise will span across various dimensions of Auto analytics, including credit risk, pricing, valuations, and dealer/channel analytics. As a vital contributor to our team, your blend of analytical skills and business acumen will empower you to craft strategies that effectively manage risk, spur growth, and enhance profitability. You will create top-tier frameworks supported by comprehensive analyses, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, underwriting models, and performance evaluations. Coupled with your analytical insights, you will leverage cutting-edge analytics tools to uncover strategic opportunities. In collaboration with diverse partners, you will take charge of strategy implementation, oversee technology roadmaps, provide competitive intelligence, and monitor performance. You will represent OneMain to key stakeholders, suppliers, external partners, and investors. The Role Utilize advanced analytics tools (SAS, SQL, MATLAB, Python, R is a plus) to build and maintain robust data analyses that empower management in making timely, informed decisions. Design, recommend, and execute consumer underwriting and customer experience strategies to optimize our lending portfolio. Collaborate with leaders to define business priorities, align resources, and report progress to executive leadership. Analyze data to create and validate assumptions crucial for volume growth and profitability strategies. Provide recommendations for the development or enhancement of existing strategies based on data insights. Incorporate response models and underwriting models into marketing initiatives. Continuously improve existing scorecards and performance tracking. Familiarize yourself with our data environment to prioritize key reporting and analytical projects effectively. Manage competing initiatives with their management chain to translate strategic priorities into actionable projects and set appropriate expectations. Elevate team culture through mentoring and coaching to inspire associates. Requirements Bachelor's Degree (Graduate degree is a plus) in a quantitative discipline like Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or Computer Science. A minimum of 2 years in a data-driven analytics environment; consumer lending experience is preferred; more experience is beneficial with advanced degrees. Proficient in SQL, SAS, and Excel; additional experience with relational databases or languages such as R, Hive, Python, Oracle, and Unix is a plus. Innovative mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities. Proven experience in leading projects and presenting findings to senior management. Willingness to learn and explore diverse areas within the OneMain business.
