Overview of Unit/Department
900 East is a 30-bed adult medical-surgical unit specializing in post-operative care for gastrointestinal (GI) and genitourinary (GU) surgical patients. We are also proud to be recognized as a Center of Excellence for bariatric surgery.
Our unit features a combination of private and semi-private rooms designed for comfort and healing. While we do not offer telemetry or cardiac monitoring, our dedicated team provides high-quality, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.

Job Summary
Has a basic working knowledge of all unit functions and is responsible for performing clerical duties and maintaining and organizing all necessary equipment and supplies. Duties may include scheduling appointments, charging, compiling and copying medical charts, reports, and other duties as assigned.

Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience
No experience required Previous Nurse Assistant experience preferred
Skills
Able to communicate and work with a wide variety of staff, patients and families Exhibits valuable time management skills Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills. Basic computer skills Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
