The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Maintenance Technician
to join our growing team in
Pittsburg, CA . In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our communities. You will handle repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting to enhance the living experience of our residents. Responsibilities:
Conduct general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
Promptly respond to service requests, prioritizing tasks based on urgency.
Perform regular property inspections to address potential issues proactively.
Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure compliance.
Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents through turnover repairs.
Collaborate with the property management team and coworkers to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of maintenance experience in
LIHTC multifamily housing or a related field .
Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and carpentry.
HVAC or EPA certifications are a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Availability for on-call emergency maintenance needs.
