Master Halco, Fence & Deck Supply , North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fencing and perimeter security products is seeking a
Yard Associate
at our West Chicago, IL branch.
This position performs an array of functions including:
Safely drive a sitdown forklift to load/unload trucks
Manually lift and place material onto palettes and forks
Ensure customer's orders are pulled and loaded accurately
Maintain the yard stock in a clean and organized manner
Provide excellent customer service
Work efficiently with the team to ensure branch success

Responsibilities
Work outside in all weather conditions
Accurately load trucks for outgoing shipments
Receive and stock inbound material
Using a computer, complete receiving and work orders accurately
Pull, prepare, and package materials for shipment
Rotate yard stock and materials
Maintains clean and safe working environment

Qualifications
1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position drivng forklift
Ability to consistently lift and move heavy materials (manually lift up to 60lbs)
Forklift experience (sitdown) highly desired
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions is required
Must be able to work overtime as needed
Experience with building materials a plus
