Pay Range: $55 - $60 per hour on W2
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team in Austin to work on developing high-quality, scalable, and resilient distributed software applications and services. The ideal candidate will create robust batch jobs to process and communicate millions of transactions, develop automated tests for comprehensive coverage, and collaborate with stakeholders following agile methodologies. This role involves conceptualizing and delivering innovative prototypes and supporting regular software releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable, resilient distributed applications, tools, APIs, and services. Develop and maintain batch jobs for transaction processing and system communication. Implement comprehensive automated unit, integration, and End to End tests. Analyze requirements, create documentation, and communicate with teams for optimal solutions. Collaborate on agile development methodologies and support software code releases.
Must-Have Skills:
Proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring Boot 2+. Experience with REST APIs and distributed systems. Strong understanding of data structures & algorithms.
Industry Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a closely related field. Machine Learning knowledge is a plus. Experience in fintech or related industries is advantageous.
