The Strategy Planning & Intelligence Analyst (Contract-to-Hire) supports the strategic direction of the organization by assisting with analysis and actionable intelligence. This six-month contract or internship role, with the opportunity for permanent employment upon successful performance review, involves gathering, organizing, and helping interpret market, competitor, and internal data to inform business decisions and identify growth opportunities. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the analyst contributes to strategic plans that align with company objectives and market trends, helping improve operational efficiency and competitive positioning through data-driven insights. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in strategic planning, market research, or business intelligence within the retail industry. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present complex information. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages for business purposes
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Business Analytics, Strategy, or a related discipline. Experience with advanced analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python for data visualization and modeling. Familiarity with retail-specific metrics and supply chain dynamics. Project management certification or experience managing cross-functional initiatives. Knowledge of consumer behavior analytics and digital marketing trends.
Responsibilities
Assist in conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the retail sector. Support strategic models and forecasting tools to support business planning and decision-making processes. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align intelligence findings with organizational goals and initiatives. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards that communicate insights and recommendations to senior management. Track key performance indicators and industry developments to continuously refine strategic plans and intelligence frameworks.

The required analytical skills enable the analyst to dissect large datasets and extract meaningful insights that inform strategic decisions. Proficiency in data tools like Excel and SQL is essential for building models and conducting quantitative analysis on market and internal data.
