Overview

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. You will design, maintain, and optimize corporate networks while ensuring security and reliability. Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and enhance corporate networks using Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Meraki, Aruba, and Sophos. Troubleshoot network issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operational performance. Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement security policies, procedures, and technologies including firewalls and access control systems. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including configuration and management of network devices and applications. Evaluate and apply network upgrades and patches in line with industry best practices. Assist with hardware and software upgrades to enhance network functionality. Monitor and report on network health and performance metrics. Document updates and design changes while adhering to change management processes. Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, including VoIP quality and configuration challenges. Participate in the network team's on-call rotation to provide timely technical support. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Valid United States Driver's License. Certifications such as Network+, Security+, or Cisco Certified Technician Routing and Switching are desired. Advanced certifications (e.g., Cisco or higher-level) are preferred. Minimum of five years of experience with data network equipment. Proficiency in technologies including Cisco Routers, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco ASA, BGP, Meraki, Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco ISE, SD-WAN, and Cisco Access Points. Strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
