The Maintenance Apprentice position is part of the Maintenance Apprenticeship Program (MAP), which is designed to develop Maintenance Technicians for Niagara Bottling's Maintenance department. A Maintenance Apprentice will learn the skills necessary to act as a Maintenance Technician through a combination of formal classroom training and on-the-job training. Participants will specifically learn how to perform preventative maintenance, rebuild industrial machinery and troubleshooting techniques on all manufacturing equipment. Essential Functions The MAP participant will complete the below learning objectives of the training program: Shadow and learn from Operators, Preventative Maintenance Mechanics, Maintenance Technicians, and Sr. Maintenance Technicians Perform scheduled PM's on machinery as needed Assist with maintenance projects & machine rebuilds Assist with downed equipment repair during the production shift as needed Research and documentation using a computer Work safely & follow the written procedures to do so Follow & respect company rules, staff and their peers Be at work on time based on their assigned schedule Attend OEM trainings and apply learnings upon returning to the plant (at plant's discretion) Perform on-demand maintenance and repair of equipment in the manufacturing facility Complete daily responsibilities assigned by the assigned direct supervisor. Explain and demonstrate accomplishment of the learning objectives for each learning activity in both theory and practice.
