This part-time jobs responsibilities are primarily working on C# and minor SQL/database programming on custom projects inside Financial Services. Its other minor responsibilities include some web page maintenance and design for web pages inside Financial Services. The job also will require some customer service, computer desktop support, and a wide variety of technical support for Faculty, Staff, and Students via phone, e-mail, chat, walk-in, support, and desktop visits when the other techs are busy or away. You will be working in a group with other techs with varying degrees of programming and computer administration experience. This job will give you great computer repair and programming experience while giving you close proximity to your classes. Work is scheduled and done around class schedules, but you must be available for, at least, 20 hours during the week (between the hours of 7:30 am -4:00 pm, Mon-Fri). Required Qualifications
Must be a current Weber State University student. C# Programming experience (Classroom or Professional) Computer setup and maintenance experience Requires skill programming in C# and SQL, some computer experience, and the ability to learn from written and oral instructions. Also requires good customer service and communication skills as well as the ability to troubleshoot a variety of computer and account issues. Web page creation and design is desired.
