Responsibilities Work in a CT scan unit with a focus on abdomen, chest, and head & neck imaging using contrast Patient population includes adults and geriatrics Utilize Epic, Pyxis, GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems Day shift schedule of Wednesday through Saturday, working four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM Call rotation is required Holiday coverage is mandatory based on the number of major holidays during the assignment Must be available to complete onboarding and schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing Full compliance required to start on time; incomplete compliance may result in delayed start due to bi-weekly orientation schedule Modules are completed during orientation and are non-billable hours Travel pairs cannot be assigned the same shift on the same unit Cannot request more than 7 days off during the assignment; RTO is not permitted during the first week If one facility has denied a traveler, a successful assignment elsewhere is required before rebooking at a new location Permanent or PRN staff must be away from all related facilities for one full year before returning as a traveler Mandatory holiday work expectations apply; RTO for holidays is limited or not permitted depending on the assignment period Local candidates are accepted at the same rate Requirements Minimum of 1 year CT technologist experience ARRT and BLS certifications required GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of consideration (license required if applicable) Ability to perform CT procedures for abdomen, chest, and head & neck with contrast Experience working with Epic, Pyxis, GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba preferred Two supervisory references highly preferred for consideration First-time travelers are accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-612604.
