Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing menu items using various cooking equipment in a fast-paced environment. The Line Cook will ensure high food quality standards are met to guarantee guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation Practice portion control and minimize food waste Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines in the kitchen Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service Maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled Essential Job Functions

Responsible for prepping all food products to be produced during service. Receives verbal orders from the expediter for food product requirements for guest orders. Responsible for maintaining quality and production standards on all menu items. Food must be fresh and of high quality when served to the Membership. Responsible for portion control and serving temperatures of all products served in the kitchen. Responsible for cleaning, stocking, and restocking of workstations. Responsible for operating large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens. Ensures that all work areas and equipment are clean, food products are properly stored, utensils are clean and put away and floor is swept and mopped at end of shift. The Line Cook must be checked out before ending the shift by the Kitchen Supervisor to ensure the kitchen meets cleanliness standards. Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas. Always wear proper uniform and footwear. Follow rules and regulations in accordance with the employee handbook. Take a meal break in accordance with company guidelines. Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

ServSafe Food Safety Certification required (either have or obtain after employment) Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment. Ability to speak, read and write in English. Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment. Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations. Education, Qualifications and Experience

ServSafe Food Safety Certification required (either have or obtain after employment) Experience working as a cook in a fast-paced environment is required.
