Export Control Specialist
TechOp Solutions is seeking a skilled Export Control Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a solid working knowledge of export regulations and a proven ability to classify technologies, items, and services in alignment with regulatory standards. They will be a detail-oriented and solutions-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and contributes effectively to both independent tasks and team-based projects. (Potential for telework, but candidates must be willing and available to work on-site up to 5 days per week if required.) Responsibilities: Perform self-determined classification of items, services, and technologies into ECCNs and USML categories. Identify applicable export exemptions and licensing requirements. Draft assessments, briefings, technical evaluations, and regulatory interpretations. Maintain and update compliance databases with review data and findings. Support the development of training materials and outreach products. Provide programmatic and technical input for reviews and policy development. Performs additional duties as assigned.
