As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting providers at different clinic locations. You will serve both patients and providers by accurately gathering and maintaining essential medical information while ensuring a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Primary Responsibilities: Prepare patients for examination and treatment, documenting their chief complaints. Obtain and record patient histories and vital signs in the Electronic Medical Record. Assist with patient exams, procedures, and specimen collection as assigned. Retrieve lab and radiology test results, providing instructions to patients on medications and treatments as per physician’s direction. Administer vaccinations safely and understand the current immunization schedule. Stock supplies and prepare examination rooms and instruments for procedures or minor surgeries. Respond to incoming calls and schedule patient appointments as necessary. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification as a Medical Assistant from AAMA, NCCT, NHA, or RMA, or the ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire. CPR/BLS certification at the healthcare provider level, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems. Compensation is competitive and based on various factors including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions, all subject to eligibility requirements. Pay for this role ranges from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour, with a specific range of $19.00 to $25.00 per hour for Eugene, OR. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
