Unit: 32-bed ED Ratios 1:4-1:5 EHR: Cerner

Shift: Nights, 36 hrs/week Weekends rotate every other Call may shift based on census

Requirements: RN license (2+ years), ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC

Float: "Helping hands" to units where competencies apply

Patients: All ages, birth through end of life Wide variety including strokes, STEMIs, trauma

Skills Needed: Strong critical thinking, patient/family communication, ability to manage fast-paced critical care environment
