Data Analyst with SQL and Traded Products

Dexian is seeking a Data Analyst with SQL and Traded Products for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities

Own current Data Management controls across multiple finance products, building, delivering, and monitoring daily data controls essential for Liquidity and Regulatory Reporting. Unwind SQL and ETL layers in Oracle to identify issues, perform root cause analysis, understand logic/derivations, and collaborate with internal and upstream tech partners to resolve issues in a timely fashion. Generate daily and monthly reports on data quality breaks and data validation shifts outside of BAU thresholds. Design, develop, and implement future data controls. Act as liaison between Treasury lines of business and Technology teams, and other Data Management analysts to communicate control status and escalate issues per defined processes. Data Control Governance ensure process controls, data validation activities, and measurement processes remain timely and relevant. Create and maintain documentation and evidence to ensure adherence to EDM Standards and RDA requirements. Work with minimal supervision on Corporate Treasury projects requiring creative solutions under tight deadlines. Improve Treasury Data Management functions for production, data governance, data change, and regulatory/audit activities. Validate data and sign off on reports within test environments to confirm application accuracy, functionality, and EDM Standards are met (Change Management). Manage relationships with diverse data partners and technology teams to support initiatives with aggressive timelines. Collaborate with PMO leads to provide updates on project timelines, deliverables, and obstacles. Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) including advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) to supplement SQL in data analysis. Demonstrated experience querying and analyzing large data sets using SQL (Oracle data warehouse). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be creative, and balance multiple priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex data analysis. Very strong communication skills with teammates and leadership within Data Management. Ability to work independently and take the lead on addressing issues. Strong knowledge and experience with Data Controls monitoring and/or Data Control governance practices. Banking or Financial services experience. Experience supporting or working in Liquidity Management with a focus on Global Markets products (Derivatives, Secured Funding, etc.).
