Collibra Engineer Opportunity
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented seasoned Collibra Engineer to lead and own our Collibra Data Intelligence platform. In this role, you will be the primary technical expert responsible for configuring, managing, and enhancing Collibra to support our enterprise data governance and data management strategy. This is a unique opportunity to be the go-to expert for Collibra within our organization, partnering with business and technology teams to ensure the platform is fully leveraged to deliver trusted, well-governed data across the company. This role can be located almost anywhere in the U.S. What You'll Do:
+ Own and manage the Collibra platform from the engineering side, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability. + Configure workflows, domains, operating models, and custom assets to meet evolving business needs. + Design and build integrations between Collibra and data sources, catalogs, ETL pipelines, and reporting tools. + Use APIs and custom development where needed to extend Collibra's capabilities. + Partner with data governance and business stakeholders to translate governance requirements into technical solutions. + Maintain documentation, best practices, and standards for platform usage. + Troubleshoot issues, monitor platform health, and proactively recommend improvements. + Stay up to date on Collibra product releases and data governance best practices. What You Will Have:
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering or a related field required. + 8+ years of experience with enterprise data platforms, including hands-on Collibra configuration and administration. + Strong knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage concepts. + Proficiency in relevant tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Java, Python, APIs). + Experience designing and supporting platform integrations. + Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. + Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams. Bonus Points For:
+ Collibra Ranger or Collibra Certified Expert certification. + Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). + Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR or CCPA. Why Join Us?
