Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates. Min = $74,228.02 Mid = $92,785.02 Max = $111,342.02 Summary The Quality and Patient Safety Program Manager plays a key role in supporting and coordinating quality management (QM), patient safety (PS), and regulatory performance improvement (PI) activities within the hospital and ambulatory arena. The Quality and Patient Safety Program Manager will facilitate multidisciplinary improvement teams and provide consultation to improve clinical processes and outcomes, eliminate unnecessary variation, and reduce the risk of harm to patients across the network and continuum. This position serves as a resource for employees, management, nursing directors, senior leadership, physicians, and teams on QM initiatives. The role involves handling patient-sensitive and confidential information while driving continuous improvement in clinical quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. This position reports to the Director of Quality. Responsibilities Participate in clinical quality data collection from EMRs, Vizient, Midas Care Management and other quality data systems to ensure accurate capture of patient outcomes and quality metrics Ensure quality data is reliable and trustworthy, which is essential for effective business operations, decision-making and driving performance improvement Provide ongoing evaluation of service line and/or clinical area performance, facilitate prioritization of improvement activities, and ensure successful implementation of initiatives within assigned scope Assist in the design, planning, and coordination of QM, PS and PI activities across hospital departments, committees and service lines Facilitate performance improvement teams focused on clinical quality improvement, patient safety, risk reduction and medical staff improvement activities Support performance improvement projects through robust data analysis and reporting Guide project teams through data reviews, root cause analysis, and performance improvement cycles (e.g., PDSA). Support the implementation of evidence based clinical practices Ensure compliance with CMS HIQRP/HOQRP, DNV, registries, Leapfrog and other regulatory standards through effective data collection and reporting Develop and implement data collection tools and processes, ensuring accuracy and validation of data Present data findings and support the creation and implementation of action plans Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accreditation and licensing requirements, supporting regulatory readiness and survey preparation activities Conduct and present research to identify best practice performance measures for benchmarking opportunities Participate in focused reviews as needed and support compliance with DNV process requirements Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement Demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration and problem solving skills to work effectively with various teams Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality and/or Chief Quality Officer Qualifications / Other Information Bachelor's degree or five (5) years of related job or industry experience in lieu of degree Any clinical license (RN, RT, pharmacist, lab) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Healthcare Quality and Management Certification (HCQM), Certificate of Professional Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety (CPQPS), or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) within 2 years of employment is required Join us at Yuma Regional Medical Center dba Onvida Health A career at Onvida Health is a place to have a long and rewarding career, making a difference in the lives of those in our shared community.
