who specializes in
SAP BusinessObjects
and
SQL
to support state Medicaid and CHIP reporting initiatives. Own the design and evolution of BI solutions that shape major Medicaid and CHIP systems. Collaborative Delivery
Work with a team that values excellence, shared learning, and transparency. What Youll Do
Design and maintain
BusinessObjects reports and Universes
based on Medicaid/CHIP claims and subsystems. Write, optimize, and maintain
complex SQL queries and scripts
to support data marts and reports. Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to gather requirements and define scalable reporting solutions. Support the development and maintenance of underlying
database systems
that ensure efficiency and accuracy. Ensure data integrity through profiling, validation, and well-documented metadata layers. Participate in testing activities across unit, integration, and system levels. Manage server backups, monitor reliability, and perform minor administration as needed. Mentor junior developers and provide BI/reporting guidance to team members. Share regular updates with clients and project leads to ensure visibility and alignment. Stay up to date on industry best practices and evolving BusinessObjects/SQL technologies. Requirements 5+ years of experience in
SAP BusinessObjects
reporting, including
Universe design 5+ years of
SQL development , including 4+ years of performance tuning 2+ years of experience on
data warehouse projects 2+ years working with
Teradata (v15+)
and
SQL Assistant Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly Bachelors or advanced degree in
IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics , or a related field Strong time management and organizational abilities Proven team player with adaptability in fast-paced environments Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of
BusinessObjects server administration
experience Familiarity with
Medicaid, Medicare , or related healthcare data systems Experience supporting
BusinessObjects version upgrades
or transitions Exposure to
Agile methodologies Experience with
Tableau
or other data visualization tools Location & Travel This is a
