Junior Estimator Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB)
We are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join our North Fresno office and support the estimation process for pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) projects. This entry-level role is a great opportunity to grow within the construction industry, contributing to cost-effective and efficient project planning while working alongside experienced professionals. What You'll Do Support bid processes, vendor selection, and material/labor assessments to enhance project profitability. Assist in plan reviews, detailed take-offs, and preparation of competitive project estimates and proposals. Collaborate with senior estimators to track project schedules, risks, and construction methodologies. Maintain organized document control and manage RFIs to ensure project clarity. Use historical cost data to improve accuracy and provide insights for continuous improvement. Build strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and team members. Stay informed on market trends, labor rates, and material pricing. What We're Looking For 23 years of construction estimating experience
preferred, or equivalent experience in PEMB fabrication/construction. Solid understanding of construction processes and industry dynamics. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Project); experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or AutoCAD a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
