This Software Engineer Level 5 role will be located in either our Morrisville, NC, Fairfax, VA, or Linthicum, MD sites. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. Ultimately, you will support the program through maturity and milestones to achieve the mission. Development is done within the Agile paradigm using the Atlassian tool suite. The work is full-time in the office. The qualified candidate must have and be able to maintain a DoD clearance. In this job, you will: Support the Processing Team in development of tasking and scheduling software Be on an Agile team supporting two programs with a singular baseline Working to execute 2-week sprints for 3-month increment deliveries Design, develop, document, refactor, test, and debug applications Other duties as assigned This position is contingent upon clearance verification and transfer to the NG sponsored program as well as continued ability to maintain required clearance level. Basic Qualifications:
Requires an active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance [TS/SCI] at time of application Level 5: Bachelor's degree with 12 years of professional experience; Master's degree with 10 years of professional experience; PhD with 8 years of professional experience (excluding internships, research projects, etc.); May consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a completed bachelor's Java experience Software design experience Software unit testing experience Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservice architecture (containerization) Object-oriented design experience (OOD/OOP) Preferred Qualifications:

Primary Level Salary Range: $155,400.00 - $256,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
