We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Sr. HRIS Analyst to join a company and human resources team that believes in treating employees like family. This position partners to ensure quality data, processes, and customer service to the organization. The Sr. HRIS Analyst will manage and maintain GILLIGs Human Capital Management (HCM) to ensure its optimal functionality and alignment with business goals. This role is responsible for data integrity, testing system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities, supporting HCM upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects. As a member of the HR team, you may be assigned other duties within the department unrelated to the HCM system. This role is based at our corporate office in
Livermore, CA , with hybrid flexibility depending on project needs. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL Support and provide HRIS technical oversight, gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, map business processes, determine system configuration and integration with other systems, evaluate data conversion, work cross-functionally with other groups, and create and execute a testing plan Collaborate with IT to manage system feeds to ensure downstream applications are aligned Conduct systems audit in all areas of HCM data including security, system foundation setup, compensation, open enrollment, performance management, and recruitment Prepare and train others on standard operating procedures and system functionality to ensure operational excellence Provide root cause analysis and resolution to issues related to the current production environment Work with HR and business management to design and develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to identify trends to support business decisions Be responsible for global data integrity by building business processes and employing quality control strategies Develop and correct code based on functional requirements defined via BRDs, FSDs, and TDDs in bug tracking systems Oversee the design, delivery, and administration of our HRIS Create a proactive partner with the IT Business Applications team to support configuration, upgrades, and business initiatives Other HR activities as needed within the HR department
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business or related field and/or equivalent work experience Minimum 5 years of HRIS experience supporting Core HR, ATS, Talent Management, Compensation, LMS, and Payroll modules 2-3 years experience with SuccessFactors, ADP, UKG (Kronos Workforce Dimensions) Technical skills - knowledge of SQL, XML and data migration scripting Advanced experience in MS Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, SharePoint) Excellent communication and strong problem-solving skills Experience in project management and end-to-end HR technology-related projects Experience in root cause analysis and issue resolution Advanced knowledge of constructing metric dashboards and custom reporting Proven knowledge of HR systems structure, functions, and processes; understanding interdependence between systems Proficient in explaining requirements, design, development, and testing, and maintaining documentation
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to lift 25 lbs Regularly sit, stand, walk, and occasionally kneel or squat Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to meet all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation Navigate manufacturing environments; comfortable around heavy machinery and tools
EXPECTED COMPENSATION $75,000 - $170,000 annual salary + premium benefits Pay offered may vary based on individual factors such as market location, job classification, knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may include other elements. Details will be provided if an offer is extended.
