Interventional Radiology-
IR - Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 24 Patient Ratios: 3-4:1 pre/post; and 1:1 intraprocedural Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): CNA support in both pre/post areas Type of equipment: IV Pumps. Specialty Beds, bedside monitors, telemetry boxes Documentation system: Cerner Procedures performed on unit: IR, Invasive CT, and Invasive Ultrasound cases Hospital Specifics- Certifications: ACLS/PALS Scheduling requirements: 4 10 hour shifts per week; on call 4-5 weekday nights per 6 week schedule, and every 10-11th weekend. Floating policy: We do not float. We do flex based on volume Patient Experience requirements: Critical care and/or previous procedural experience (IR preferred) Requested Skill Set: Experience with all cardiac diagnosis, emphasis on vascular patients, IVDA, chest tubes, CVA Must have: ICU or ED experience; would prefer previous IR experience, moderate sedation experience Dress Code: (Required uniform) Green hospital issued scrubs.
