Highway Construction Estimator

Responsible for preparing estimates for TxDOT and local municipality roadway projects including earthwork, soil preparation, concrete paving and flatwork, drainage, bridges, and asphalt paving. Will have accountability for performing takeoffs, attending pre-bid meetings, performing site visits, contacting suppliers and subcontractors, and entering quotes. Requirements: 3+ years experience in the Heavy Highway industry required, with more than half of that being in estimating. Successful Completion of Drug Test Acceptable MVR Preferred: Experience with HCSS HeavyBid estimating software Experience estimating TxDOT projects Experience performing takeoffs Experience with Trimble Business Center software Experience with Agtek software Experience with P6 Scheduling software J.
