Maintain building by performing repairs and maintenance to air conditioning, furnace, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities. Job Functions Physically respond to emergency situations, such as fire, power outage, gas or water leak, or any other emergency situation or repair. Perform periodic maintenance to equipment and machinery as outlined in preventative maintenance schedules. Perform repairs and maintenance to air conditioning, furnace, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities as necessary. Perform work assignments to complete renovation and remodeling projects. Possess knowledge and understanding of engineer drawings and principles. Carry and communicate by two-way radio. Must be at least 21 years of age. Vocational/technical school training and 3 years previous engineering experience preferred. Must possess knowledge of necessary equipment and the appropriate safety standards. Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools. Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift. Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
