You'll work across the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation, using modern technologies including Python, AWS, and UI frameworks (Vue/React). Key Responsibilities Develop software solutions for energy forecasting and optimization using Python, AWS, and modern UI frameworks Lead technical architecture and design for software modules, potentially managing small engineering teams Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists and product managers in agile ceremonies Mentor junior engineers and communicate project status to leadership Build proof-of-concept implementations to validate research into viable products Write technical requirements, documentation, and comprehensive testing suites Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science 7+ years of software development experience Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in Python and modern UI frameworks (Vue/Angular/React) Strong understanding of cloud computing (AWS preferred) Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code processes Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members Excellent communication skills with technical and business stakeholders Location
