Our dedicated team at Columbia University Irving Medical Center handles a wide range of surgical procedures, including cardiac, vascular, neurosurgery, and pediatrics. CRNAs administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for both scheduled and emergency surgeries and diagnostic procedures across the Columbia University Irving Medical Center Campus. With cutting-edge technology and unparalleled expertise, our CRNAs help achieve remarkable surgical success rates and maintain one of the nation's lowest mortality rates. CRNAs will have the opportunity to rotate between NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital, catering to both adult and pediatric patients. You may also choose to work at our community-based Allen Hospital, which specializes in orthopedics and complex spine surgeries. Our CRNAs benefit from a balanced caseload and flexible scheduling while contributing to Columbia University’s Nurse Anesthesia Program through one-on-one anesthesia instruction. New Graduates Are Encouraged to Apply! New Graduates orientation is available. Preferred Criteria At least 1 year of experience as a Certified Nurse Anesthetist. Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP or DNAP). Required Criteria Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist. Masters of Science in Nursing. Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
