None What You Will Do: Conduct comprehensive reviews of accounts to determine actions needed for balance resolution. Analyze 227 and 835 Electronic Files, UB04’s, and 1500 Claim Files. Review medical records carefully. Make proactive outbound calls to Insurance Companies to address claim denials and outstanding account balances. Handle Non-Clinical Appeals efficiently. Assist Supervisor/Manager with various projects as needed. Identify and escalate payer issues/trends to a supervisor with detailed information for effective resolution. Communicate concerns or areas for improvement promptly to Supervisor/Manager. Resubmit accurate corrected claims and necessary documentation to enhance patient experience. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient patient account management. Report issues to management in a timely manner and complete any additional duties assigned by supervisors. Adapt to changing tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive composure. Initiate and manage projects independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. What You Will Need: High School Diploma or equivalent. 0-2 years of medical billing experience, particularly with UB04, appeals, and denials. What Would Be Nice to Have: Capability to interpret and apply reimbursement principles of managed healthcare contracts. Exceptional customer service skills with effective problem-solving and analytical abilities.
