We are seeking an ambitious Inbound Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics and Material Planning team. You will be the main interface between Harbinger internal teams and its carriers (2PL/3PL/4PL). What Youll Do
Collaborate with material planners and procurement teams to develop and refine transportation strategies, ensuring alignment with carrier tendering processes. Oversee a diverse panel of carriers across ocean, air, ground, and parcel modes to meet logistics needs efficiently. Ensure supplier documentation is accurate, complete, and accessible to carriers and customs brokers, adhering to regulatory requirements. Coordinate end-to-end shipment processes from booking to final delivery with real-time tracking and issue resolution. Manage claims related to lost, damaged, or delayed shipments, proactively mitigating risks. Escalate transportation delays impacting production and implement contingency measures as needed. Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives, such as freight consolidation and service level optimization. Monitor KPIs (e.g., inbound/outbound logistics costs) and ensure alignment with financial and operational targets. Hold carriers accountable for performance through governance frameworks and regular reviews, focusing on OTIF and detention management. Lead RFQ/RFP processes for standard transport lanes and specialized project cargo. Oversee outbound shipments for samples, engineering and service materials, RMAs, and finished chassis/stepvans. Who You Are
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, including at least 1 year of international logistics. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookup, data analysis). Strong knowledge of Incoterms (mandatory). Basic understanding of U.S. CBP import process. Hazmat certification/experience is preferred. Experience in vehicle shipping is a plus. Prior experience working with carriers is preferred. Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is a plus. Proficiency in Spanish and/or Mandarin Chinese is preferred. Benefits
