As a Systems Engineer, you will research, architect, model, simulate, test, certify, and improve advanced products and services. You will develop complex system architectures, guiding them from concept through design, simulation, and testing, using advanced tools. You will own system-level responsibilities for new products throughout their lifecycle. This role involves supporting equipment environmental qualification for FAA civil and military certification of the SAOC aircraft. Responsibilities include maintaining a qualification database, allocating requirements, coordinating with teams, and reviewing artifacts for compliance. Responsibilities Develop and maintain environmental qualification database Allocate qualification requirements to equipment Evaluate qualification artifacts against requirements Prepare templates for qualification plans, procedures, and reports Coordinate with IPTs and subcontractors to ensure qualification compliance Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor's degree in System Engineering or related field, with 6+ years of experience Practical knowledge of engineering principles Experience with multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of requirements management, system design, and V&V principles Experience with FAA certification processes and environmental qualification methods Familiarity with standards like RTCA/DO-160G, MIL-STD-810H, MIL-STD-461G Strong communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with qualification testing and documentation Exposure to CDA programs Experience with database and system modeling tools (e.g., DOORS, Rhapsody, MATLAB) Knowledge of industry standards and aerospace industry background SNC offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
