Overview
Vitamix is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager who will be responsible for strategically developing, maintaining, and enhancing a comprehensive safety program. They will ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards strictly comply with applicable CDC, OSHA, EPA and all state and local regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for safety and experience working within a progressive HSE organization. Responsibilities
Directs, develops, and champions comprehensive corporate-wide health, safety, and environmental strategies. Manages the full administration of the Workers' Compensation program, ensuring efficient processes and compliance. Ensures all safety incidents are meticulously documented, thoroughly investigated, and that timely corrective actions are implemented using tracking software to prevent recurrence. Drives health, safety, and environmental awareness across the organization through impactful employee communication, targeted training, and leading safety committee meetings. Promotes and fosters active employee involvement in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the safety culture. Serves as the primary point of contact for all internal and external audits related to the company's safety initiatives, plans, and processes. Ensures the timely completion of safety drills, comprehensive site inspections, and detailed written survey reports with actionable recommendations for corrective actions. Measures overall safety performance, conducts in-depth data analysis for trends, and communicates findings with strategic recommendations to management teams. Ensures that all health, safety, and environmental standards strictly comply with applicable CDC, OSHA, EPA, and state & local health and worker's compensation requirements. Continuously evaluates and enhances the overall safety program to ensure optimal protection for global employees, customers, and the environment. Qualifications

Previous experience using workplace incident tracking software. Strong understanding of CDC, OSHA, EPA, and Workers Compensation regulations and standards (multi-state). Problem Solving

Ability to sit up to 8 hours per day, with walking and standing required frequently Visual acuity is required to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading documents, reports, and emails Repetitive hand movements for tasks like typing or assembly Fine motor skills for precise work Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including eye protection Vision (near, color) Sense of sound (ability to hear the difference in sounds of motor) Sense of touch To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
