The role of a Transfer Pricing Analyst is pivotal in supporting the Tax Department's goals of total quality and corporate social responsibility. This position ensures accurate reporting and payment of income tax liabilities to various tax authorities and contributes to financial statement accuracy for stakeholders. The role is essential for meeting legal and regulatory requirements, involving technical responsibilities such as financial modeling and economic analyses for transfer pricing planning and compliance. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain complex financial models to comply with APA methodology and transfer pricing regulations. Gather, analyze, and troubleshoot data for financial and economic models, ensuring accuracy for reports submitted to tax/transfer pricing authorities. Identify data discrepancies and potential shortcomings promptly. Conduct comparable company searches and screenings for APA and 6662 contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation studies. Respond to requests for BEPS/CBCR and adhere to relevant tax guidelines. Analyze results of economic and financial models and provide recommendations to management. Calculate necessary transfer pricing adjustments, markups, royalty rates, and service charges. Prepare 6662 contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation studies and assist in tax authority submissions related to transfer pricing audits or APA requests. Support ongoing transfer pricing and planning projects, coordinating with external advisors and internal departments. Research significant transfer pricing issues and communicate results effectively to influence decisions while balancing business needs and compliance requirements. Essential Skills: BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business. 4+ years of transfer pricing experience with a multinational corporation or equivalent. Solid understanding of US transfer pricing regulations and OECD guidelines. Knowledge of general accounting, finance, and economic concepts. Advanced MS-Excel modeling skills, including the ability to create, review, and troubleshoot complex financial and economic models. Strong analytical capabilities for interpreting financial model results. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Highly organized, capable of working independently and reliably. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Continual technical education in statutory and regulatory environments. Work Environment: The role requires working fully onsite, utilizing advanced technologies and methodologies to support transfer pricing activities. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Torrance, California. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
