Overview

This is a Human Resources Business Partner role that supports a growing workforce across the employee lifecycle and acts as a strategic partner to leadership and a trusted advocate for employees. As the Human Resources Business Partner at Willbanks, you will balance hands-on HR operations with forward-thinking talent development to align HR programs and policies with business goals and company culture. Responsibilities Payroll Administration

Prepares and processes payroll and associated information. Updates payroll records and processes routine changes to employee records. Performs basic reconciliation and auditing processes during each pay cycle. Responds to pay-related inquiries from staff and researches and resolves errors or omissions. Follows all processing procedures, adheres to policies, and maintains confidentiality. Responsible for administration of attendance program and PTO accruals.

Benefits Administration Administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as liaison between employees and insurance providers. Monitors employee eligibility and processes enrollments, cancellations, or changes. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Establishes and maintains relationships with insurance vendors. Administratively responsible for all fiduciary filings regarding benefits including 401(k). Administers company leave program, including FMLA where appropriate.

Human Resources Maintains Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records and compiles reports from the database as requested. Administers HR plans and procedures for all personnel; assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures (e.g., Employee Relations, Performance & Training). Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Manages recruiting responsibilities including website, job fairs, interview scheduling, resume sourcing, and telephone screening. Serves as an HR advisor to leaders, aligning people strategies with business objectives. Champion employee engagement, recognition & rewards, and community outreach efforts. Monitors HR KPIs and recommends data-informed improvements to policies and practices.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Administration or similar preferred 3-8 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration Adept at managing human resources and employee engagement plans 3-5 years of experience in HR Generalist, Sr. Generalist, or HRBP role Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) Certification preferred Strong time management, problem solving, and integrity Attention to detail and adaptability
