The Vehicle Communications System Operator Instructor - Mid Will
Teach and assess operation and maintenance of vehicular radio systems, utilizing relevant tools and software for command and control communications at the Transmission Systems Operator level. Review and update curricula, lesson plans, student materials, and audiovisual aids, as well as maintaining their assigned instruction periods. Provide training on ACV FoV and related systems, covering PMCS, inspection, repair, and tasks outlined in technical references. Coordinate with NETT staff on matters of CCI, inventory, readiness, and mission availability. Load cryptographic keys and frequencies into encryption devices for secure communications and training events. Serve as custodian for provisioning symmetric and asymmetric key products supporting C4 and C2 systems. Communicate updates on COMSEC policies and procedures affecting NETT. Monitor and manage NETT COMSEC material allowances. Train NETT staff in KMI procedures and best practices. Oversee COMSEC program integrity, inventory, technical data, and custody of loaned communications equipment.

Required Skills
Must be physically and mentally capable of successfully completing the Marine Corps Water Survival Training Program (MCO 1500.52D), the Marine Corps Submerged Egress Training (SVET) and license and certification requirements of the specific Amphibious Combat Vehicle variant (i.e. Operator license, Maintainer certification, or Communicator certification of Communications suite on the ACV FoVs). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer facing and internal oral and written communications skills Excellent MS Office skills to include, but not limited to MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project. Experience working in a Marine Corps Systems Command Program Office or similar organization Positive attitude and understanding of the Marine Corps mission. Ability to function as part of an agile team when given broad direction.
Required Experience
Minimum, four years' experience training in a military period of instruction/program. Experience instructing the operation of the very small aperture terminal-expeditionary (VSAT-E), high frequency (HF), very high frequency (VHF), super high frequency (SHF) and ultrahigh frequency (UHF) vehicular or man pack radio sets, including antennas and power sources, establishing contact with distant stations, processing and logging of messages, conducting frequency changes or cryptographic codes and maintaining equipment at the first echelon. Experience planning, coordinating, and executing operations while utilizing program of record equipment and field-expedient antennas to integrate communication networks. Familiar with spectrum analyzing tools, specialized computer hardware/software programs, transmission security (TRANSEC), and communications security (COMSEC). Seniority level
