Construction Estimator
The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for Industrial Construction Projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation. This role plays a critical part in helping the company win bids and manage budgets effectively. Bids are done manually, but there is an opportunity to utilize estimating software. Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates for industrial construction projects. Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to develop estimates. Assist in winning bids by providing detailed and competitive estimates. Manage budgets effectively through careful cost analysis. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project requirements and costs. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience in construction estimating. Proficiency in estimating software such as ProEst, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Strong communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred). Experience in mechanical, electrical, and commercial construction. Work Environment The role involves working in both office and field settings. You will have the opportunity to be involved in various aspects of construction management and project coordination. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
