The ideal candidate will have 1215 years of overall IT experience with deep hands-on expertise in mobile application development, architectural design, and team leadership. This role requires the ability to lead cross-platform mobile initiatives, drive technical excellence, mentor teams, and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance applications. Responsibilities
Define and own the architecture for enterprise-grade mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices for mobile development. Evaluate frameworks, tools, and third-party integrations to recommend the best-fit solutions. Provide hands-on leadership in developing, testing, and deploying iOS (Swift, Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin, Java) applications. Ensure performance optimization, security, and scalability across mobile apps. Oversee integration with backend systems, APIs, and third-party services. Technical Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of iOS and Android developers, fostering technical growth and excellence. Conduct architecture/design/code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability. Guide the adoption of CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices in mobile development. Project Execution & Delivery
Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables. Ensure timely delivery of projects while managing risks, dependencies, and resource allocations. Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure alignment, quality, and delivery efficiency. Stay current with the latest iOS and Android technologies, frameworks, and industry trends. Drive initiatives to improve user experience, app performance, and development efficiency. Contribute to mobile strategy and roadmap at the enterprise level. Required Skills & Qualifications
1215 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 8+ years in mobile application development. Strong hands-on expertise in iOS (Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, UIKit, SwiftUI) and Android (Kotlin, Java, Android Studio, Jetpack libraries). Proven experience in leading mobile development teams and delivering large-scale mobile applications. Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and platform-specific guidelines. Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and third-party SDKs. Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and mobile DevOps practices. Strong knowledge of performance tuning, security, memory management, and debugging. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills
Exposure to cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native). Familiarity with cloud services (Firebase, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for mobile backends. Experience with App Store and Play Store publishing and deployment processes. Prior experience in client-facing roles and enterprise-scale mobile strategies.
