Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Endoscopy Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/27/2025 Duration: 26 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position: Endoscopy Technician (Travel) Location: Alaska (Must be ≥50 miles from facility) Facility Type: Acute Hospital – Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma, USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska Staffed Beds: 407 Assignment Details: Length: 26 weeks Start Date: ASAP Shift: 4x10 hours (07:00–17:00), Days On Call: Yes, every 5th weekend Experience & Qualifications: Years of Experience: 1 (First-time travelers accepted) Required Certifications: BLS Charting Experience: Epic required Key Skills & Responsibilities: Outpatient Endoscopy procedures (EGD, Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EBUS, Flex Sigmoidoscopy) Instrument processing, cleaning, and high-level disinfection (HLD) Procedure room setup, restocking supplies, and closing room at end of day Use of dilators, electrosurgical units, endoscopes, forceps, and polyp snares Handling gastric brushing, pathology specimens, frozen sections Infection control, sterilization, and universal protocol (time-out) compliance Floating within scope to other hospital units not required Other Requirements: Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year About Nationwide Therapy Group NTG is a proud partner with healthcare professionals across the country.
