Overview
Senior Software Engineer, Ads ML Infrastructure - USDS. The ads system at TikTok USDS operates at a massive scale and uses machine learning to improve ad quality. The Ads machine learning data platform team builds infrastructure to collect and process data for ML training, serving, and privacy enforcement, including feature engineering, feature store, and training data generation. Responsibilities Lead projects committed to building and operating scalable and reliable Ads ranking infrastructure systems. Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members and project peers. Communicate cross-functionally with various teams and stakeholders to drive engineering efforts. Lead innovation efforts and bring in new ideas and technologies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s):
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical disciplines. 3+ years of hands-on experience building and training complex, scalable ML systems. Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, software design) and problem-solving skills. Solid coding skills with understanding of algorithms, especially causal inference, uplift models, and deep learning. Experience in managing projects.
Preferred Qualification(s): Experience in Ads domain. Experience with building large-scale ranking infrastructure.

Compensation Description (Annually): The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $129,960 - $341,734 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, and location. Base pay may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and RSUs.
