Overview
Principal Consultant Enterprise Data Analyst Business Consulting The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years experience in the Financial Services industry with proven expertise in implementing Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions. This resource will play a key role in bringing our EDM solution into the enterprise, acting as both strategist and hands-on integrator. The candidate should have deep domain knowledge across reference data, market data, product/fund/legal entity data, and trade data, with practical experience integrating EDM into enterprise applications and overcoming real-world implementation challenges. Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end implementation of the S&P Global EDM suite, including Data Inspector, Constructor, Rule Builder, Data Matcher, and Web UI workflows, to establish a consolidated golden-copy data hub. Function as strategic advisor and hands-on resource to integrate EDM with downstream systems and upstream data feeds (vendor systems, internal trading/portfolio/CRM platforms, and reporting solutions). Architect and configure data ingestion, validation, transformation, enrichment, and reconciliation workflows for product/fund data, trade/position data, and related metadata. Design and guide implementation of integration layersETL, batch/real-time message hubsto orchestrate data flows between EDM and key systems (OMS, MDM, risk engines, data lakes). Define and enforce data governance, stewardship, and lineage practices to ensure traceability, auditability, and regulatory compliance. Build and manage master-data workflows using components like Rule Builder, Data Matcher, and Workflow Builder; manage matching patterns, exception resolution, and deployment governance. Drive performance tuning, system testing (unit ? integration ? UAT ? parallel), and deployment to production with operational readiness. Mentor junior EDM consultants and contribute to implementation best practices, continuous improvement, and product roadmap feedback. Practice Development
Provide insights on new and emerging best practices across the Capital Markets industry and contribute to the development of service offerings. Collaborate with practice members to support thought leadership and develop innovative assets, including differentiated viewpoints and methodologies. Build networks to enable knowledge sharing and stay informed on wealth management and financial advisory topics. Prepare thought papers and participate in industry conferences and forums. Contribute to practice growth through roles such as recruitment, training, and retention. People Management
Coach and develop junior team members to deliver quality results and support professional development. Participate in and contribute to practice training activities. Business Development
Lead small to medium sales pursuits and business development activities, from client proposals to commercial constructs/contracts. Develop relationships at senior management and CXO levels. Formulate and present Infosys Consulting propositions and service offerings. Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required. Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with at least 35 years of management consulting experience at a top-tier firm. Demonstrated ability to define, mobilize, and deliver complex change programs in the Capital Markets industry. 35+ years of proven experience implementing or supporting S&P Global EDM suite within a financial institution or enterprise setting. Deep understanding of EDM components: Data Inspector, Constructor, Rule Builder, Data Matcher, Workflow/Web UI modules. Domain knowledge across market data, product/fund/master data workflows, and trade/position integration. Experience integrating EDM with enterprise applications (SQL Server/Oracle, data warehouses, OMS/EMS, risk, portfolio systems). Strong technical skills: SQL, ETL/data modeling, stored procedures, data ingestion, messaging systems. Excellent communication skills; ability to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications. Experience across full project lifecycle: requirements, design, configuration, testing, go-live, training, and support. Familiarity with EDM governance, lineage, and audit processes; regulatory frameworks (Basel, MiFID, Dodd-Frank) a plus. Willingness to travel up to 80%, depending on client requirements. MBA or equivalent advanced degree. 57 years of experience in advisory business, technology, or operational change initiatives in the capital markets industry. In-depth knowledge of front-to-back office processes and leading products in this space. Experience with products such as S&P Global Markit, FactSet B-One, Charles River, Calypso, Eagle STAR-PACE, Advent APX, BlackRock Aladdin, Broadridge products, Salesforce CRM in Capital Markets, or similar. Background in EDM Managed Services or Data-as-a-Service implementations. Experience leveraging EDM Warehouse component and prebuilt enterprise data model. Vendor integrations using S&P Global metadata and external data feeds. Familiarity with cloud hosting environments and SOC-2 compliance. Pre-sales experience: leading demos, POCs, RFP engagements, solutioning. Leadership in developing EDM implementation best practices, training materials, and product evolution. Experience leading programs with strong stakeholder engagement and delivering under tight deadlines.
