As an Electromagnetic Engineering Effects (E3) Engineer, you will support the System Engineering (SE) Special Disciplines Organization within National Security Space (NSS) in one or more of the following areas: Primary role will be to perform main aspects of EMI testing to include: planning, writing of test procedures, conducting/overseeing the equipment availability, setup, testing, and test report to stakeholders and customers Apply and grow your electromagnetic engineering skills to enable the logical and systematic conversion of customer needs into total systems derived requirements and solutions Perform and support functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications Perform and support requirements sell-off through: compiling, organizing, performing, evaluating and documenting completed compliance verification process which assesses design performance and operational electromagnetic issues at both the package and system levels Join our E3 Engineering team. Be partnered and mentored by senior experts, while supporting multiple programs. Desired skills: Experience with satellite and/or missile system and/or box level test and analysis (or equivalent) MATLAB, Excel, CST/EMA3D (3-D modeling software tool), and PSPICE or equivalent experience Generating EMC/E3 Control Plans, procedures, Lab Reports, or equivalent Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Analysis Microsoft Office applications Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors Excellent written and verbal communications skills, proactive and self-starter, demonstrated teamwork and leadership Enthusiastic learner, independent thinker, and team-player By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
