Systems Engineer (Journeyman)
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Systems Engineer (Journeyman) position. This position will be located in the United States and will be a full remote position. The responsibilities include gathering information concerning the capabilities of company products, investigating the technical capabilities of company products and competing equipment and/or solutions, staying abreast of developments in hardware and software, generating quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and ensuring requirements comply through formal verification methods. The role also involves translating high-level product development strategies into network and system requirement specifications, coordinating development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the network and system development, designing interfaces and bringing network and system elements together, assessing performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures, and providing customer liaison and support for business development activities. The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years (or commensurate experience) in network and systems engineering. Clearance up to an active Secret is required.
