You will support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with a Veteran first vision to transform the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) with greater visibility into claims processing. Designing, implementing and validating complex workflow using Pega Integrating data exchanges with multiple VA systems Collaborating with all Scrum Teams to decompose workflow functionality and perform the development of changes and customizations across the program Working one-on-one with Technical and Functional Leads for workflow automation Reviews and audits solutions design and implementation to ensure functional delivery compliance of objectives and cyber security posture Reviews test results for compliance against defined workflow requirements Supports detailed API discussions with VA Partner Systems Utilizing professional judgement, critical thinking skills and research to improve processes and resolve issues affecting program performance Required Skills
Bachelors Degree in business related field, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline with at least 8+ years of experience At least 8+ years of experience in designing, developing and deploying Pega solutions to support workflow automation Design, develop, and implement Pega applications using Pega PRPC 8.x Experience in working on various rules and features like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Security, Reports, Listeners, Connectors, etc Build REST/SOAP services and integrations with external systems Understanding and experience with Agile & Lean principles & methodologies for application development Must demonstrate critical thinking skills to resolve operational issues and identify risks and mitigation Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to business leaders Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting Desired Skills
Certified Pega System Architect is preferred Knowledge of Pega with cloud technology is a plus Strong knowledge of VA systems is preferred Additional Details
Salary range: $123,250 - $166,750. This may vary based on experience, location and contractual requirements.
