The Lead Process Engineer is responsible for supporting efforts to improve value stream productivity and cost of quality. This role involves coordinating with cross functional teams utilizing the Danaher Business System while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position reports to the Operations Manager and is part of the Manufacturing Operations team located in Richmond, IL and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Apply lean manufacturing principles via the Danaher Business System to drive operational excellence. Lead and validate equipment and process improvements through testing and analysis. Execute Kaizen projects aligned with value stream goals, coordinating cross-functional teams. Optimize production scheduling by modeling capacity and identifying constraints in value streams. Analyze chronic losses and collaborate with operations and frontline associates to implement impactful solutions. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or related degree. 1+ years of related experience in an FDA or similarly regulated manufacturing environment. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Periodic domestic travel, including overnight, is possible for training, kaizen, or vendor visits (
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Manufacturing processes and equipment such as blending, bottle filling/capping/labeling, material conveying, and end-of-line packing. Proficiency in modeling production line capacity and project ROI justification along with process automation and autonomation in manufacturing. Understanding of applying statistical process control methods. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
