As a Customer Success Manager at Smartly, you'll take ownership of your own customers from the first week on, provide consultative advice, scope and drive successful product trials, and enhance customer engagement. You will serve as a crucial link between customers, Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, and our product development team. This role offers the opportunity to learn rapidly about growing and nurturing your book of business, managing relationships with large advertisers, and scaling operations in a fast-paced, ambitious company. This position is based in Berlin and is part of the South & Central Customer Success team. Responsibilities include: Managing and nurturing customer accounts through daily communication and digital marketing expertise. Collaborating closely with customers to refine their online marketing strategies and resolve issues related to scaling budgets, campaign performance, and manual tasks. Owning and developing your book of business, including developing vertical expertise in areas such as e-commerce, travel, classifieds, and mobile apps. Maintaining strong knowledge of the Smartly platform and the digital ecosystem to effectively solve customer problems. Building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners like Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, and Google. Working collaboratively with customers, Smartly CSMs, and product teams to ensure quick feedback and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates possess:

At least 3 years of experience in customer success or a similar customer-facing role. Good understanding of paid digital advertising platforms (Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Google, and programmatic advertising). High empathy, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to help customers achieve their goals. A results-oriented mindset with a bias for action and collaboration. Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and translate data into insights. Excellent spoken and written English skills; proficiency in French or German is a plus. Willingness to work in our Berlin office at least three days a week (hybrid model). Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, and industry events.
