Python Developer, Mid at Booz Allen Hamilton. The Opportunity: You will enable faster, more efficient execution of advanced Air Force modeling and simulation (M&S) scenarios by containerizing legacy tools, integrating disparate model frameworks, and accelerating adjudication workflows. This role is focused on technical problem solving, system navigation, and environment integration not traditional software development. Responsibilities
You will support operational analysts, wargaming teams, and decision-makers by injecting modern Python-driven capabilities into legacy or stovepiped systems. You will work with existing non-Python models and applications to enhance interoperability, performance, and usability pushing toward a modular, scalable, and rapid-turnaround M&S infrastructure. Qualifications
3+ years of experience with Python, including containerization, scripting, automation, and tool integration Experience containerizing applications and models, such as Docker, Podman, or Singularity, and managing runtime environments Ability to translate non-Python codebases, such as C++, MATLAB, or Java, into Python for integration or augmentation Ability to navigate and modify existing codebases and environments Ability to work outside rigid Agile or Waterfall structures while focusing on mission-driven outcomes Ability to work in classified or restricted-access computing environments TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science field Nice If You Have
Experience working with modeling frameworks, such as AFSIM, NGTS, STORM, JICM, or similar DoD simulation tools Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements.
