Overview

Join Verizon as a Retail Sales Associate. This is a full-time role in one of our retail stores, focused on sales success, customer service, and opportunities for growth within Verizon.

What you’ll be doing...

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using effective communication to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers who are interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base (including off-site Verizon sponsored events).

We’re hiring immediately! Compensation includes base pay of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus up to $16,000 per year in individual-based commissions if sales goals are met. Top performers may earn additional commissions, with potential total earnings of $65,000+ to $73,500+ annually depending on geography, hours, and performance.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience (work or military)
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule provided four weeks in advance)
• Openness to pick up additional shifts, especially during peak periods (summer, November-December)

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Experience in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience and ability to find solutions for customers
• Customer service experience
