Part-Time, Hourly: Non-exempt WHAT SETS YOU APART Orlando City SC is seeking hardworking, positive, and passionate individuals who wish to gain experience in facilitating key tasks associated with the operation of a professional soccer stadium and special event venue. Employees will have a direct role in assisting with venue operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES This role provides coverage and support at both Orlando Health Training Grounds at Osceola Heritage Park & Sylvan Lake Park. Assist with events at Osceola County Stadium, including Orlando City B Matches, international team trainings, and tournaments. Assist the Facility Manager with all third-party vendor scheduled work and activities, including onsite housekeeping, to ensure work is completed to the client's satisfaction. Perform weekly inspections and assist with repair or maintenance requests as needed. Maintain appropriate inventory of all assets, equipment, and consumables within the facility. Assist in research and procurement of equipment and supplies. Provide operational support for events at INTER & Co Stadium as needed. Ensure a safe, clean, friendly, and well-maintained facility for staff and players. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Ability to interact professionally and confidently with members at all levels of the organization. Exceptional reliability, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel). Strong attention to detail. Ability to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings within a team environment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds. This position requires work inside and outside, with some exposure to extreme weather and adverse conditions. In November 2013, Orlando City Soccer Club was awarded a Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise, becoming the leagues 21st franchise. The team began play in March 2015, with 62,510 fans packing the then-Orlando Citrus Bowl for the Clubs MLS debut.
The Lions have reached the postseason in five consecutive seasons (2020-24), qualified for the Concacaf Champions Cup in 2023 and 2024, and reached their first final in 2020 during the MLS is Back Tournament. In 2022, Orlando City won its first MLS-era championship, lifting the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup trophy, marking the first professional team championship in Orlando.
In October 2015, the Orlando Pride was established as the 10th team in the NWSL, bringing professional womens soccer to Florida. The team began play in April 2016, setting a league record for single-game attendance in its first home game.
The Pride boasts a roster of international talent, and in 2024, won the NWSL Championship, completing a historic double with the leagues Shield. Coach Seb Hines, the first Black head coach in the league, led the team to this achievement and was named 2024 NWSL Coach of the Year.
Both teams moved into Inter&Co Stadium in downtown Orlando in 2017. In July 2021, the club was purchased by the Wilf Family, owners of the Minnesota Vikings.
