Associate Consultants (ACs) play an important role on project teams, conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis that feeds into the teams recommendations to clients and enables them to increase impact. ACs follow a 50-50 staffing model, working on two projects at a time with different teams. They enter as generalists, with topics ranging from education to public health to criminal justice, and a client portfolio that includes philanthropists, nonprofits, and impact investors. ACs may engage in research and writing projects to share Bridgespan insights with leaders globally. Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct qualitative research and analysis through interviews with client staff, beneficiaries, and field experts Execute quantitative research and analysis as needed by the client Perform financial analysis, including forward-looking projections Prepare clear and compelling presentation materials Present analyses and findings Collaborate effectively with teams across all tasks Be prepared to work 50-55 hours per week on average, with variation Travel may be 1-2 times per month depending on client work ACs participate in formalized training, including orientation and ongoing programs, and a 10-day off-site with Bain ACs to build consulting skills and career foundations. Qualifications
0-3 years of work experience Strong academic background Excellent analytical skills Ability to apply an equity lens in project analysis Highly self-motivated Excellent written and verbal communication Strong teamwork commitment Commitment to the social sector Associate Consultants are required to relocate to their home office city and work from the home Bridgespan office at least 2 days per week.
