Job Title
This position will be responsible for support of the Structured Products team in deal execution, interactions with internal clients, and preparation of analytic and presentation materials to leverage and create process efficiencies in the group's focus on specialty lending, securitizations, and capital markets transactions. The broad role will include deal/asset analysis, market/asset research, organization/creation of processes/documents. You will work closely with the cross-functional team to continue to develop and broaden the business within its existing growth mandate. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the structured finance industry and make a meaningful contribution to the initiatives of the team. Responsibilities
Evaluate and analyze structured finance transactions and products, for asset classes including ones that back mortgage-backed securities (MBS), consumer/commercial asset-backed securities (ABS), and other esoteric financial instruments Conduct in-depth market research to understand trends in the structured finance industry and identify opportunities for new specialty warehouse lending and securitization transactions Assist in the execution of specialty lending and securitization transactions, including coordinating with legal, operations, compliance, and external parties Prepare and update marketing decks, presentations, pitch books and other client-facing materials Work alongside internal clients (legal, operations, accounting teams) to manage daily/monthly/quarterly fundings, reporting Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required Ability to work independently or collaboratively and maintain a positive attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledge of financial markets and structured finance products Licenses: SIE, 7 & 63 required (can be post-hire items) The duties listed above are the essential functions, or fundamental duties within the job classification.
