Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for performing emergency and preventative repairs on plant machinery and infrastructure. This role is crucial in ensuring the continuous operation and productivity of our production lines by responding promptly to the needs of the production supervisor during unplanned breakdowns. The Maintenance Technician plays a vital part in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by completing repairs efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities
Perform emergency and preventative repairs to plant machinery and infrastructure safely. Respond to the needs of the production supervisor during an emergency breakdown, utilizing manpower and equipment efficiently. Clean up maintenance and work areas where repairs are performed. Ensure the safe and prudent use of company equipment and tools, maintaining a safe work environment by employing Lock-out/Tag-out procedures and reporting unsafe conditions. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and inform the Maintenance Supervisor or Planner when supplies need replenishment, providing ordering information. Utilize the Work Order system to enter and complete work orders as directed. Report to the Maintenance Leadman or Supervisor during off-shifts and weekends. Understand and comply with the principles of the Quality and Environmental Management System in place. Communicate daily with internal personnel from Production and Quality Control to help resolve problems and achieve company goals. Essential Skills
Experience in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearbox systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting 3-phase electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Skilled in PLC troubleshooting. Preventive maintenance expertise. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in hydraulic systems. Competence in gearbox repair and replacement. Pneumatic repair skills. Strong mechanical experience. Welding experience is a bonus. Why Work Here?

This position is located in a manufacturing and metal coating facility. The environment is not climate-controlled, so candidates should be willing to work in various weather conditions. The role operates on a day shift with a rotating schedule of 5 days on followed by 3 days off, from 8 am to 4 pm. Candidates must be willing to work this shift. Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
