Responsibilities Work in a hospital nuclear medicine department Variable daily caseload of 8-11 patients per tech Main procedures include PET scans, using Siemens equipment Epic EMR is used for charting and documentation Day shift schedule Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Rotating weekend call is required, Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with no overnight call Position requires the ability to float between like units, but not to sister facilities First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment Up to 10 days of requested time off are permitted per 13-week contract, with blackout dates during major holidays No blocked scheduling requests are allowed Modules are completed pre-start and during orientation Candidates who worked in the facility or its affiliates within the past two years are not eligible Scrubs or dress code details are not specified Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, including at least 1 year with PET scanning ARRT or NMTCB registry required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required Experience with Siemens imaging equipment preferred Proficiency with Epic EMR is required License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-612788.
